After exploring the bumper options for the Toyota 4runner and installing a few, we knew there needed to be a better way, so we created our own. This bumper is specifically designed for the 2014-2024 Toyota 4runner (excluding the Limited and Night Shade trims). If you have ever installed a bumper on a 4runner you know how cumbersome it is to bolt the bumper to the frame with a winch and lights installed, not to mention accessing the hardware or your winch after the bumper is installed. With this in mind, our bumper is designed in two pieces, a solid steel winch carrier with 1in shackle mounts and a lightweight aluminum shell that attaches to the winch mount. Now you can easily install the winch and carrier, route your wires and make sure everything is attached properly before attaching the aluminum cover. You also know that to install a bumper like this, you must cut your factory bumper and this can be a very stressful task to make perfect cuts that wont look like a beaver mistook your sweet ride far his dam materials. We designed our aluminum shell to completely cover all cut lines, so even if you have to use a beaver and mangle the edges, they will be hidden from view. This bumper includes a bracket to mount up to a 30in LED light bar, like the Baja Designs S8, or pods to the aluminum cover before installing it to the winch mount. Also included is the bolt-on RT light mount that does not interfere with the TSS, this can also hold up to a 20in LED light bar (if installing a light bar to the RT hoop, the TSS will be affected). Once fully installed, the solid aluminum shell will not rust, even if the included powder coat is compromised.
